Based on the lack of Federal Gov't action, and considering that Joerg IS effectively a member of the press, I would posit that, as always, the goods stolen from Joergs home were examined by a cabal of Federal Gov't lawyers, who informed the actual thieves that there was nothing at all which could justify any charges being laid.
As for the presumed photograph that this may be all about (although I agree with Joerg that this is, overall, an intimidation tactic), that photograph (if we're being honest) doesn't show squat.
It's a blurry photo of an indistinct object located in a very distant shoot'n'scoot, a photo that no human being on earth can, with any assurance, describe what any accuracy whatsoever.
