Blue & Whites also take personnel to geographically separated units, such as VX-9 at China Lake, 412th Test Wing at North Base, VX-30 at Point Mugu, etc. It wouldn’t be very practical, nor discreet, if 737-600s (Red & Whites) landed at other airfields (with the exception of Plant 42,) unless absolutely necessary.
