I visited Trinity Site twice. The first time, I went on an organized bus tour. The second, I drove myself, which was much better. My first visit was on July 16, 1995, the 50th anniversary of the test. I met Jack Aeby there. He was a Los Alamos physicist during the Manhattan Project and took the only color photo of the Trinity fireball.
