I have this design in my head that combines this concept with the acoustic intake concept where there are a bunch of tiny inlets that then feed into six specific intakes for four ducted fans and two generators. Then the alternator/generators would feed power to the battery and fans. And finally, the exhaust from the generators would feed to the EDF intakes to add additional propulsion / disperse the IR signature of the fumes. Additionally, with EDFs, you could add thrust vectoring capabilities limiting the amount of control surfaces needed.
