As for 'tight' maneuvers, well, these birds are going to be hitting you out at 300 miles distance, if not further with the more exotic escorts. Within visual range, of course, for the sheer size of them, so trade off is to be expected. But again, with the power available, the novel features of the bird itself, not as much as you would have expected. Far from what you would expect. They are xxx million a shot for a reason.
There is nothing now given up. Zero trade-off. Boeing's thrust vectoring is, frankly here, utterly astonishing.
