The chickens are coming home to roost. One way or another American citizens will be made aware of the US's current state of vulnerability, and the 90s fantasy of an unstoppable world class military will be shattered. Then we can begin going to work fixing the mess we are in. It surprises me that there are no general awareness campaigns being employed to educate Americans about China and the struggles America will be facing going into the future. If I was a well resourced individual, and noticed the government wasn't moving fast enough, that's where I'd start.
