In case anyone's noticed, the latest edition of the resume by Dan Javorsek refers to the YF-220 and X-273 as "prototype" and "demonstrator aircraft" respectively rather than simply YF-220 and X-273. This reminds me of prior instances where initial editions of USAF pilots' resumes listed YF-24 and other cover designations for so-called "classified prototypes" (e.g. YF-118G), only for those designations to be omitted in later editions of those pilots' resumes for confidentiality reasons. However, whereas the updated resume by Javorsek lists a "prototype" and "demonstrator aircraft" under the section "Flight Information", updated editions of the resume by Lanni omit any mention of "prototype" under the section "Flight Information" despite mentioning "classified prototypes" in the text as an implicit reference to the YF-24, further bolstering my opinion that the YF-24 was a captured MiG loaned to the USAF for evaluation in contrast to the YF-220 being a technology demonstrator like the Bird of Prey and Tacit Blue.
