Nothing so exotic is my guess. Adding 1 and 1, there was talk about a green exhaust flame that got the air vehicle it came from the name "The Green Lady" among British sky watchers.

Speculation was that the "go fast fuel" was what drag racers use to go insanely fast in the 1/4 mile: NITROMETHANE. Self-oxygenating, very high energy per gallon, not terribly exotic or toxic and rather easily available.

Mix with hydrazine for rocket power or as one story I heard, an on-board oxygen generation system to supply the rocket propulsion.
