There's is this documentary from National Geographic: Top Secret Plant 42 by Jake ward. They allow him inside palmdale plant 42 and even inside the flight control room. One of the operators tell him there is a supersonic highway in the sky, exclusive to the airforce, between plant 42 and Edwards airforce base. The operator also tells him in the supersonic highway he's seen speeds of several thousands mph, which means at least 3000mph, which is mach 3.91
