As I've suggested elsewhere on this forum, the NGAD tech demonstrator is probably the X-273 mentioned among the aircraft flown by Dan Javorsek according to Javorsek's resume (the YF-220 mentioned in the resume could be either a fighter plane of foreign origin or a technology demonstrator for the SR-72 given that the YF designation letter has historically been used in cover designation for MiGs acquired by the USAF for evaluation at Groom Lake).
