That explains the absence of activity in the NTTR. Very odd indeed. In all the years following WSINT up here and in Vegas I have never seen anything like this.

I can think of two reasons:

a) A participating asset cannot operate in the NTTR or the objective of the mission is not compatible with the NTTR
b) The NTTR is used for other activity

I detect no activity here. The radar sites are dark, scanner is dead silent. So b) seems unlikely.

Maybe the exercise includes sea-based assets? Or it involves signals/comms that curious folks with scanners around the NTTR might pick up?
