A friend of mine worked for one of the contractors that blasted at the Sheahan's mine. He said there was a truck entrance that they had to go through. Everyone had to be pre-approved. All IDs were checked. Phones were turned in and held. The vehicles were searched top to bottom. All before they were allowed down the road to even get to the mine. I would guess that the delivery trucks going to the base have the same process. Funny story, the mining company got a new car insurance policy that shipped them out "accident kits" which included paperwork to fill out with other involved drivers and one of those cheap disposable cameras to take pictures. The fleet manager loaded one of the kits into each truck ... unbeknownst to the drivers. Security found the camera in the glove box and were apparently not very nice about it.
