I cannot speak for Emigrant Valley but in neighboring Sand Spring Valley where Rachel is located you hit water around 120ft., give or take. Parts of Groom Lake flood after rains, just like our lakebed north of Rachel. It is mostly due to the dry ground not being able to absorb the water and not so much due to the water table rising.
