I agree it's definitely not just the skeleton of a hangar. You can see creases in the material. However, I'm leaning towards it being some kind of transparent material since the centerline is dead on. I know it would be possible to do this with a printed image but it would have to line up precisely with the angle of the satellite shot to not be offset a bit.
