An informal camp out / BBQ might be fun. If during Red Flag, you are looking at mid to late July or early August. Hot but doable. I've camped out several times in July/August to watch Red Flag. The night run is great, if they use flares. Does anyone know, if they are using the flares lately? Last year, flares were absent, possibly due to fire danger worries.
