Red Flag 22-1 dates

I had several emails asking about Red Flag 22-1 dates. I have no further information beyond what is posted in the News & Events section.

My annual FOIA request for the dates was denied with a bogus reasoning and so far I have not received a response to my appeal to that decision.

However, my confidence in the posted 22-1 dates is pretty high based on previous years. One of our readers quoted a source saying the Flag would begin a week later, on 1/31 and only be a two week flag, but that has not been confirmed.

Anyone with more info, please feel free to chime in.
