If you use the Canon RF 800mm F/11 IS STM and Canon Extender RF2x, then you will also need a Canon RF mount camera (R5 or R6 would be good suggestions) - and you will also need at least one SD cards to store your images on.

You can rent the Canon RF800mm, Canon extender 2x, and Canon RF Camera from B&C Cameras (in Las Vegas - assuming that you are going to Las Vegas first, before going to Tikaboo). Alternatively, you may also rent from LensRentals.com.

Perhaps the best ‘bang for your buck’ would be to rent a 50 Megapixel camera and just use your existing 60mm refractor.

Your challenge is that taking photos of objects twenty-six miles away, is that you are going to see the effects of heat haze, so you want the ambient temperture to be below sixty degrees fahrenheit (or even colder). The challenge then is that it is going to be quite cold for you (and that might cause other problems - for your body).
