Even if you allow for 10% atmospheric distortion (the image is quite clear so I think that is very generous) and add another 10% for error in my measurements (the variance I got from my three measurements was < 1%) you end up with only 84 ft. wing span. I agree that for a high altitude long endurance UAV that seems small. So, the question remains could it have been at much higher altitude. Anyone with some knowledge of contrails and atmospheric conditions, please chime in. The noise was faint, but loud enough to be noticed. The reason I even looked up was that the aircraft was inside the "box."
