Yes, they sure spent a lot of money beefing up the back gate. In particular the privacy screen on the fence is quite effective. I suspect to a large degree additional security was needed because of dramatically increased tourist traffic since the Storm Area 51 event. The lights at the gate are now easily the brightest lights in the valley and unfortunately cause some light pollution.
