There is no reason for any significant underground facilities at Groom. Classified hardware and activity is easily hidden in hangars and office buildings. Several hangars and large buildings were added in he last 20 years, when satellite imagery was more frequent. Construction was documented in various stages, including the bare foundation. None of them show any sign of underground access from the new buildings. None of the people I know who (unlike Lazar) have actually worked at Area 51 ever talked about underground facilities at Groom. Many of the stories of underground tunnels at Area 51 stem from the tunnels excavated in the nearby NTS (today: NNSS) for nuclear tests.
