Calspan has been a leader in in-flight simulation for a long time. They modified one-of-a-kind NT-33 and NC-131 a/c for the USAF back in the 60s/70s. Working in-flight simulation programs was one of the jobs Calspan dangled in front of me during an interview in the spring of 1980, but there was no way I was going move to Buffalo, NY.
