Very rarely do we get jet action over Pahrump. There are several times during the year, not related to any of the Red/Green flag, where we get jet, helicopter, and other aircraft flying low and fast at night. They are obviously doing some type of drill using Pahrump as part of the drill. Often there are many helicopters involved. The next time they do any type of drill over Pahrump, I will post what I see and hear on here. Occasionally there will be unmanned radar equipment set up outside of Pahrump in various locations as well to go along with these drills. The local paper or news never really mentions it. I am sure most residents are aware but not much attention is paid to it.
