After quietly reading this forum for possibly a decade or more some interesting activity overseas and the above post made me finally register, as Sandia rang a bell.

That's because TLG33 (Taktische Luftwaffengeschwader 33) is based at Büchel Air Base, which also hosts USAF 702 MUNSS that guard B61 nuclear weapons for "nuclear sharing".

Since the Tornado is the only plane in GAF inventory for this use, some are currently undergoing a Service Life Enhancement (SLE) program with the first plane finished in early 02/21 by Airbus. Maybe some qualifiying?

However, this plane was 43+42 according to official GAF report:
