Dennis In late 2019 U-2s moved from Al Dhafra, UAE to RAF Fairford. RAF Akrotiri, Cyprus remains as a European base. One of the two Fairford U-2s does a long mission most days as callsign BLACK01 north through Scandinavia, presumably towards Kaliningrad. This 'mission' U-2 is fully kitted out with pods.
