That stands to reason, though. The more hi- tech you make an aircraft, the more expensive and sensitive it becomes. Not only can you not afford to buy a large number of them, but you are also averse to risking them in combat.
This is why (IMO) we need to go the other way with it. Non-stealthy, low tech semi-autonomous RPVs in very large quantity. Don't bother with hi-tech sensor suites or supersonic performance, just basically an A-7 without the pilot. Very cheap and expendable with no secrets to give to an adversary.
