I’ve been working on identifying nuclear test sites that I photographed on Sunday on the NTTR. I’ve found it to be an incredibly tedious task to accomplish, but so far I’ve identified three sites, all of which are large craters. Two were Project Plowshare tests and one was a 870kt weapons development test. The identified tests so far are Cabriolet of Operation Crosstie, Schooner of Operation Bowline, and Greeley of Operation Latchkey, all mid-1960s era detonations.
