A lot of the building numbers have been known since the early 1990s thanks to an official map and building directory that was provided to the news media and others. Many of those building numbers had been changed from their original designations sometime in the mid 1980s. Glenn Campbell used to sell cleaned up copies of the map from his Area 51 Research Center in Rachel.

By looking at Google Earth imagery taken over the past couple decades, it is possible to see that quite a few of those structures have been torn down, and in some cases replaced with new ones. The hangars also have separate building numbers. If I recall correctly, for example, Hangar 18 was also known as Building 430 or something like that.

Sam's Place is the saloon and recreation center.
