Right. But the statement that "their scientific community lacks any imagination so copying US tech is all they can do from moon rovers to the B-2." is hyperbole and demonstrably false. There are many good studies on Chinese scientific innovation in the public domain - I can link one if it's really necessary, but come on - there are literally hundreds of examples of China's innovative science and tech everywhere. A much better anti-ship weapon than Harpoon? They developed and fielded one years ago. A ballistic anti-ship missile? Check. Impressive ICBM's of their own design? Check. ASAT weapons? Check. Nuclear weapons? Check. The list goes on and on. Just because they copy many designs, doesn't mean they don't also innovate like crazy.
