Alienstock: It just keeps getting better

From the latest (printed) issue of the Lincoln County Record we learned that there was, in fact, an emergency preparedness meeting in Alamo for the Alienstock event. No one bothered to tell us about it, although I emailed the director of Planning in Pioche daily last week for updates. Rachel residents were not invited. From what the paper says there will be ONE fire truck and ONE ambulance in Hiko servicing the entire area. There will be a few sheriffs vehicles in the same area. No mention of anything being stationed in Rachel! With no traffic Hiko is about 45 minutes from Rachel. With the expected congestion it could be HOURS until emergency vehicles or even the sheriffs department is in Rachel. We are totally left to fend for ourselves. Truly unbelievable! This is beyond criminal on the side of the planners.
