access to the north base portion of edwards was restricted for most of june for activity by the Emerging Technology CTF according to the announcemento of the closure. i wonder if this was related to the increased frequency of the visits by the "baby janets" - they often stop there now according to flightradar24. north base activity is increasing it seems - you can see the facility from cal 58 to the north so they can't keep anything visually sensitive outside.
