I went out to cruise the ET Highway over the 4th of July holiday and do all the standard stuff. No alien activity or odd aircraft to report, but I did see this: That's the valley we had to cross to get to the Project Faultless site. All those circles are fire ant nests. They extend the entire length of the valley as far as the eye can see, and average 20' across! Even the free range cattle wouldn't venture down into that valley. I don't know if the residents of Nevada are aware that the fire ants have infested their State, but they have taken ownership of that valley and set up a kingdom. Other than that, not much to report. The Camo Dudes drive Tahoes now, somebody has installed a new black mailbox where you can leave mementos, and Tonopah puts on a good 4th of July celebration. Best,
