To elaborate on the no-fly zone for drones:

There will be no new restrictions for flying drones around the Test Site. That said, those of us flying drones near the perimeter need to be mindful of the existing restrictions, particularly R-4808N. If more violations of existing restrictions occur I am sure this will be revisited. Lets not give the Air Force reason to push for this again. The existing no fly zone essentially includes the area of the NTTR and the R-4808N air space (all red areas in the above image). So, it is currently illegal to fly drones in the area of Campfire Hill, for instance, even though it is on public land. Also see the Google Earth plugin and maps in our Maps section. It is also illegal to take any recordings of anything inside the NTTR.
