A lot of people have the misconception that China Lake is the Navy version of Area 51. Now there is a lot of weapon testing that does go on there and some of the systems are no doubt top secret, but I can't say I have not heard of or seen any black project aircraft in there. On top of that you could stand at the fence line or on top of one of the near by houses and see the whole airfield. Still a very cool area for a ton of live fire missions though. Now that is not to say that there are not black projects being tested at their RCS range high up in the mountains, but as far as the airfield itself the only out there thing I have seen was the Predator C Avenger shortly after is was shown to the public
