That would make sense. The photo at the top of the linked article shows two similar towers at a UAV base in Kandahar in 2009. I guess I am still confused why there are four of those antennas, and why they are arranged in a square here and in a straight line at Groom. But I suppose that confirms the presence of UAV programs at Groom (there are two of these sites at Groom). Not that I had any doubt about UAV programs at Groom before...
