Very interesting. Who does the background checks on these workers? And I wonder if, aside from the background check, if these guys have to undergo additional checks or tests that are out of the norm. A friend of mine got a job within the intel community 5 years ago and said that he was later informed by his employer's security office that surviellance is conducted on impending job applicants, and on occasion, current employees who are due for a security clearance update. Any thoughts on who conducts their background checks?
