Looking at the elevations in NV that are close to the Abbottabad elevation, I'd say the training was probably closer to Desert Rock, Indian Springs, or the bomb range town out that way. As for the meeting, it's anybody's guess.
Despite the sensitivity of the mission and details surrounding it, I would doubt that any of the black programs at Groom would have "allowed" any visitors who did not have business that absolutely had to be conducted there. Just too much risk, especially with that large of a group.
