Campfire Hill is a small hill on the right side of Groom Lake Road (driving towards the perimeter) a couple of miles before the warning signs. The coordinates are 37° 21.095'N/115° 36.410'W.

The attached link to a page from the official Rachel, NV web site, with good camp sites in the area, mentions Campfire Hill.

Due to the proximity to the perimeter you may get a visit from the cammos at night (which can be quite exciting, but harmless). It is closer to Area 51 than some of the camp sites along the Highway. But the Jumbled Hills are blocking your view of the Area 51 air space (and shield your scanner from ground transmissions). In my opinion the Powerlines Overlook is a much better camp site.
