On June 30, 1995 the US Navy handed the airfield at Machrihanish back over to the Ministry of Defence. Of course there are a ton of sightings/hearings dating back to the early 90's of high-speed targets flying in and out of this particular facility in Scotland. Any thoughts on what the Navy was doing with the facility? If you look at a timeline of events pertaining to the mystery aircraft(s) in question, it's pretty clear that many of the sightings that were happening all over the world drastically began to diminish around this point in time. Any connection? Thoughts?
