There were whales in Nevada. One other note, where Groom road and Hwy 375 join there is a feature mentioned on a meteor hunter episode; http://geology.com/meteorites/impactites.shtml
The area was a shallow sea. We found some interesting shells at a mine West of Rachel. We've only seen coyotes and cows. just found that if you right click while in the message box there is spell check.
