Stealth is useful, but experience has shown it is not the magic once thought. Curiously current 'stealth' aircraft would be detected quite easily by Chain Home of Battle of Britain fame.

Remember one factor in the loss of the F-117 to a decrepit Serbian S-125 was that all jamming assets were committed to protecting a B-2 strike.

Also notice that the USAF didn't risk the reputation of the F-22 against Libya.
