He almost led them into a formation crash. He violated the hard deck for that maneuver.

The Angles are supposed to thrill them, and chill them, but not kill themselves.

Commander Koss has stated that the incident, with other incidents, had led to his 'decision' to step down.

The wingmen are watching him, they would have followed him right into the ground like the Thunderbirds did at Indian Springs 30 years ago.

Koss was lucky to be allowed to quit rather than having his flying career terminated due to a formal inquiry.
