You have to go right back to the Caveman. You have your family, your tribe, some land where you live with things that you can eat, water to drink and wood to burn. Another tribe turns up, wants you all out because you have a good life and everything you need, now they want it.

So what do you do next?

A) Quietly leave
B) Let them in and enslave you
C) Repel their attack and defend yourselves

Even if the World Nuked itself back to the Stone Age there would still be people left and they would make Bows and Arrows. Weapons have and will always be part of Mankind because there is always an aggressor and a need to defend.
