I recently ran into someone myself that had worked in the OXCART program meeting. I was at a wine tasting, and a man walked in wearing a Navy jacket. I asked him about his flying history, he flew for the Navy during Korea, and later went to work in Burbank for Lockheed, but not as a pilot I made an offhanded comment regarding our favorite base, and he mentioned commuting there every morning in a Martin 404 during the early days of the Blackbird project. He didnt say exactly what he did, but he did mention working under Tony Lavier. When I got home and googled his name, turned out he also had flown for the Blue Angels too while in the Navy.
