Could be a couple of things. It could be KU band or C band Line of Site communications with an unmanned vehicle. Could also be one of the many types of Common Automatic Recovery Systems. Or could be both. If I remember correctly about a year ago we talked about something just like this. I can't remember specifics but we ended up agreeing it was a Data link for an Unmanned Vehicle. Such as L-3's TCDL. Maybe that old discussion and this one can be used to solve our little mystery. Joerg, good find!
