I've spent many nights on all the peaks around Area 51 & TTR. Since 1992. Area 51 is basically final testing of weaponry/aircraft and after the aircraft or weapons are approved they go to TTR before they are used by the military and/or other applications. Chain of command is like Edwards/Skunkworks on to Area 51....then TTR. I recommend hanging at Area 51 for a couple of days then driving over to TTR for a couple of days of monitoring. Both bases talk with each other.
