From my experience with the NSA I can say without a doubt they would prefer that no secret or classified project was ever discussed, mentioned, or speculated on by anyone, ever. Is this site monitored by the NSA? This should come as no surprise but everything on the internet including email is monitored all of the time. NSA has always pushed the envelope on supercomputing, networks, and telecom. I seriously doubt that there is any angle they haven't got covered and no view they aren't aware of. This is not to suggest in any way that the NSA is the only agency that is monitoring A51. If you want to know who knows the most about what goes on at A51 my guess would be the lawyers who draw up the research and development contracts and make sure they are executed faithfully.
