OK, it seems the bad news is that there are washouts...but the good news is that the guy made it there (on foot?) anyway, judging from his comments about the trail.

Any coordinates, or at least distances from known points such as the spring, of where the problems are?

T-5 weeks until my next attempt, so hopefully someone will yoke up the oxen and plow it into shape by then, while doing a dance to ward off snow also.

Who generally repairs/grades the road when something like this happens? Do you suppose they will wait for spring to do so?
