I was in Florida for the Fall of 2005, but no shuttle launches. Did see the Probe to Pluto (New Horizons) blast off like a bat out of hell from a spot near/under a bridge on the 528. A bunch of HAMs and retired NASA employees were there. Great fun talking with the retired NASA guys about Apollo and great view for the launch of New Horizons.
