Good questions. To answer them.
1. Yes, the idea has been discussed from time to time but current non-exotic RC equipment does not have the range control a vehicle for the distance required (almost thirty miles.) Besides with the current ramped up security and resultant stiff penalties, no one wants to even THINK about the legal consequences. Overall bad idea that we don't support.
2.Once you visit the area you quickly recognize that although there are few fences, there are many miles of very deadly desert that is a VERY effective barrier. Once again the idea may be tempting, but the reality is if you could walk the distance without getting caught, you'd have to walk out for a round trip of probably fifty miles. Good luck.
3. Probably, so if you try the walk have your legal affairs in order and a lawyer on call. You WILL need him (or her.)
