I didn't realise it was common knowledge. I didn't find any reference online of it ever being at Groom (even in your articles :-) ). The OXCART story, the unclassified CIA document doesn't mention it either.

Do you have any additional information on the designs resurgence in the mid-60s? I can't find anything about it, except one small reference!
